Lindsay Samelko earned a Master of Science in Social Work from the University of Texas at Austin in 2014 and is currently licensed in the state of Oregon (LCSW) specializing in child, youth and family therapy with a sub-specialty in multi-system and court involved cases. Lindsay has had extensive training in play therapy and earned her credentials as a registered play therapist. She is an OBLSW approved supervisor and certified in foster and adoptive family therapy, infant-toddler mental health, children’s yoga, and animal assisted human health. Lindsay is the current president of the Oregon Association for Play Therapy and has served on the board for over six years in various roles. Lindsay has created and delivered multiple post-graduate level continuing education courses for mental health providers within the community and coauthored a book on the integration of yoga into play therapy practice.
Lindsay currently works as a grant-funded emergency COVID response school social worker for a local private school.
