Dr. Suzanne D. Lady is an Associate Professor in the Department of Clinical Education. She has held several leadership roles, including Chair of the Clinical Education Department and Chair of the Doctor of Chiropractic Assessment Committee. Dr. Lady is the lead instructor for the Clinic Training Phase lecture and lab, and she also volunteers as a facilitator for the Mind-Body Medicine elective, which is modeled after the Georgetown School of Medicine program.
With nearly 20 years of practice, Dr. Lady earned her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Western States Chiropractic College in 1997, where she received the Award for Clinical Excellence. She also holds a BA in exercise science, sociology, and psychology from the University of Arizona. During her time there, she competed in NCAA PAC-10 intercollegiate athletics, winning the Women's College World Series in fast pitch softball in 1991 and earning recognition as a National Strength and Conditioning Association All-American.
An avid outdoor adventurer, Dr. Lady enjoys fly fishing, backpacking, RVing and hiking. Her scholarly interests include advancements in neuroscience, chronic pain treatments, the role of the mind-body connection in alleviating disease and suffering, and the psychology of performance.
She was honored as the College of Chiropractic Faculty Member of the Year in 2023
