Dr Laura Baffes is an associate professor & has been teaching at UWS since 1994.  She is a certified chiropractic sports physician (CCSP) and has additional training and teaches courses in neurology, orthopedics, pediatrics & internal disorders.

Dr Baffes has written a CSPE care pathway on the treatment of Shoulder Impingement Syndrome and has been involved in the NIH funded grant for evidence based practice as a faculty participant. She has also been involved in other research studies on the chiropractic treatment of TMD and cervicogenic  HA. She is the faculty advisor for the pediatrics, neurology, and the sports medicine clubs on campus.

Also, Dr. Baffes maintains an active chiropractic practice in SE Portland and she has mentored numerous student/interns through the externship program at UWS. In her free time, Laura enjoys biking, hiking and horseback riding.
