Josette Curtis, MS RD CD received her Bachelor of Science in chemistry from the United States Naval Academy and her Master of Science in Human Nutrition and Functional Medicine from the University of Western States. She completed her didactic education in dietetics through the University of Colorado Colorado Springs and her dietetic internship through Wellness Workdays. Her professional interests center on nutrition for women throughout their lifespan, specifically sports performance during pregnancy and postpartum.

Some interesting facts about Josette: 1) before embarking on her nutrition career, Josette was a Naval Flight Officer and completed two deployments to the Western Pacific; 2) she discovered her athletic side as an adult and has trained, at different times over the last 20 years, for road races (mainly half marathons), CrossFit, and Olympic weightlifting competitions; and 3) in 2021, Josette fulfilled a lifelong dream by appearing on Jeopardy!
