Extending the pursuit of community integrative care beyond campus, UWS has cultivated several key community partnerships and is a founding member of the Oregon Collaborative for Integrative Medicine (OCIM).
Oregon Collaborative for Integrative Medicine (OCIM)
The Oregon Collaborative for Integrative Medicine is a collaborative organization comprised of University of Western States, Oregon Health & Science University, Oregon College of Oriental Medicine, National University of Naturopathic Medicine and Pacific University.
OCIM’s vision is to facilitate interactive educational opportunities for students attending the health sciences institutions in Portland by pioneering a model of traditional and holistic health care integration. The organization aims to advance health care through interdisciplinary education, research, patient care and advocacy.
