Articulation and Partnerships

UWS maintains articulation agreements with a number of undergraduate colleges and universities. These agreements are designed for students who intend to pursue a chiropractic education at UWS and also wish to receive a degree from their undergraduate institution. To achieve this, UWS DC credits are transferred back to the undergraduate institution to fulfill requirements for completion of the baccalaureate degree, thus allowing the student to complete their baccalaureate degree and Doctor of Chiropractic degree in one year less than the normal time to complete each degree individually. This relationship enables students to save both time and money.

Graduates from the CSEE with: a Bachelors Degree in Athletic and Exercise Therapy, a Diploma in Exercise and Wellness, or a diploma in Sport Performance will be admitted into the Doctor of Chiropractic program at UWS with guaranteed placement under condition of attaining a GPA above 3.0 and meeting all remaining admission requirements of the DCP.

Graduates from the CSEE with: a Bachelor’s in Athletic and Exercise Therapy will be admitted into the Master of Science in Exercise and Sports Science program at UWS with guaranteed placement under condition of a attaining a GPA above 2.50 and meeting all remaining admission requirements of the program.

UWS/NUHS Pathway to Dual Degree

Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine (ND)

Beginning summer 2015, current UWS DC degree candidates and UWS DC graduates will be eligible to apply to the NUHS ND program. Credit for courses taken at UWS transfer directly to NUHS and apply toward the completion of the ND requirements. The agreement requires that both the DC and the ND degree programs be completed within eight years of the earliest program matriculation.
