Bart Green, DC, M.S.Ed., Ph.D., DACBSP

Dr. Bart Green has a most unique background and current presence in the chiropractic profession as a practicing chiropractor, a scientific journal editor, epidemiologist, and educator. With 30 years of experience in environments ranging from private practice to the largest military tertiary hospital on the West Coast, he knows how to speak to clinicians, making information relevant and fun to learn. Board certified in chiropractic sports medicine, holding a master’s degree in medical education and a PhD in public health, Dr. Green speaks on a wide variety of topics and can mix and match them a’ la carte for your program.

Dr. Green is a full-time chiropractor and epidemiologist, practicing in an interdisciplinary, on-site health center that serves a large corporation in San Diego and San Jose, California. He previously started the first chiropractic clinic for the military in San Diego at the Naval Medical Center, practicing for 13 years as an interprofessional teammate in spine, sports and combat casualty care clinics and served as cycling coach for the United States Marine Corps Air Station Miramar endurance sports team. He has been in private practice and served as a clinician-educator at two chiropractic colleges. A second-generation chiropractor, his chiropractic roots go back more than 75 years. He knows how to blend the old with the new and has been an advocate and financial supporter of chiropractic history research for his entire career.

Dr. Green has published more than 100 research papers in scientific and academic journals and served as a collaborator in multiple research projects. Most recently, he served as a volunteer researcher for the Global Spine Care Initiative, an international collaboration of 68 international spine experts from 24 countries, that published several papers about sustainable primary spine care models.

Dr. Green is the editor-in-chief for the Journal of Chiropractic Education. He also is a part-time faculty member at the National University of Health Sciences where he serves as the associate editor for National’s three journals: The Journal of Manipulative and Physiological Therapeutics, The Journal of Chiropractic Medicine, and The Journal of Chiropractic Humanities.

Georgia J. Nab, DC, MS, CNS

Dr. Nab presents on current topics in health care allowing health care practitioners to apply their new knowledge into practice right away. She adds a number of real-life case studies into her talks, to help practitioners see how their new knowledge can be put into practice. Dr. Nab also integrates workshops into her talks, allowing doctors to practice on each other, aiding in understanding the material. By blending current research in with clinical pearls, Dr. Nab is an engaging and respected speaker.

A 1994 graduate of Cleveland Chiropractic College Kansas City campus in Overland Park, Kan., Dr. Nab owned a chiropractic clinic in Wichita, Kan., before joining a manufacturing facility in Wisconsin from 2012 through 2017. Dr. Nab provide chiropractic care, nutritional counseling, and educational training to the employees at the company’s corporate headquarters. While there, Dr. Nab authored of “1 Degree of Change” as well as numerous other publications.

Dr. Nab is a 2015 graduate from the University of Western States with a Master in Human Nutrition and Functional Medicine degree. She is currently an adjunct professor at the University of Western States for their masters program. Dr. Nab is a Certified Nutrition Specialist from the Board for Nutrition Specialist and works with Affiliated Monitors, an independent monitoring company for professionals. Additionally, Dr. Nab is a certified practitioner with the Institute of Functional Medicine (IFMP).

Dr. Nab currently owns Authentic Life in Shawnee KS., a clinic that focuses on functional medicine, genetics, nutrition, and chiropractic for its patients. Dr. Nab also writes and speaks on health topics around functional medicine, genetics, nutrition, chiropractic, and lifestyle.

Daniel Murphy, DC, DABCO

Daniel Murphy, DC, DABCO graduated magna cum laude from University of Western States in 1978 and pursued post-graduate education culminating in board certification in orthopedics. He has been a part-time professor for 40 years and has led more than 2,000 postgraduate continuing education seminars. His varied speaking topics include biomechanics of vehicular collisions, biomechanics of spine trauma, biomechanics of pediatric vehicular collisions, soft tissue injury and repair, pain and proprioceptive neurology, the management of spine and spinal related disorders and clinical nutrition.  

From 2003 – 2009 he served as the vice president of the International Chiropractors Association (ICA) and was honored as ICA Chiropractor of the Year in 2009. Dr. Murphy’s publications include author contributions to Motor Vehicle Collision Injuries and Pediatric Chiropractic.

Of his many accolades, Dr. Murphy was named the 2021 UWS Alumnus of the Year. This distinction recognizes and honors the accomplishments of outstanding UWS graduates as they advance the science and art of integrated health care. Dr. Murphy’s professional and scholarly work has demonstrated exemplary leadership for the chiropractic profession and embodies the core values of UWS- student focus, best practices, curiosity, inclusiveness, professionalism and whole person health.
